Kaelan has more than 15 years of experience operating at the highest levels of government and working with some of the world's most influential business leaders-- from the Obama White House to Fortune 50 companies to startups-- and knows what it takes to build, scale, innovate, and achieve results.
Bringing together her foundation in policy and expertise in communications, Kaelan founded Compass Rose Communications in 2023 to help people, organizations and brands who care about the work they are doing and to focus on the issues that matter-- building brands, telling compelling stories, and driving change.

Benjamin Kelner is a strategic communications professional with experience in media relations and public relations. He has a proven track record of success working with a diverse range of clients, including corporations, nonprofits, and government agencies. Benjamin is passionate about helping clients solve complex communications challenges and effectively reach their target audiences.
He honed his skills at Indiana University and earned a master's degree from Columbia College Chicago. Based in Chicago, Benjamin enjoys exploring his city and traveling to experience new cultures and perspectives.
